Well here’s some dope unexpected news for y'all. It looks like Lil Wayne will be claiming 2014 as his and releasing TWO new albums this year. Seriously.
In the latest episode of "Weezy Wednesdays", Tunechi announces that he plans to drop two albums in 2014. Along with the much-anticipated Carter V, a second solo project will also be coming out before the year ends. Weezy says,
“I'm dropping two albums. ya dig? This year, look for two albums from me because I kinda been out the game for a second ya dig, album wise.”
He says the reason for the second album is because once he got going on the Carter V, he couldn't stop working. And instead of having 93 songs on the C5, he just decided a second album was necessary. He didn't reveal the title yet for the second album, but he jokingly hinted at using the name “The Other Album (TOA)”.
With only six months left in the year, Weezy definitely has his work cut out for him. Lets hope this means C5 will be here sooner than we think. (Oh yeah, so much for the Carter V being Lil Wayne's final album though right?)
