Tattoos are a big part of hip-hop culture, we've seen many rappers pay homage to their favorite artists or notable figures by way of their tattoos. Drake tatted Aaliyah on himself (as well as his dad's mugshot), while Game paid respects to Trayvon Martin and Nate Dogg, among others, this past year with new tattoos.
The latest rapper to pay tribute in the form of a tattoo is Wale. The MMG rapper recently inked both the Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac on his legs. The D.C. native took to Instagram to post some photos of the process as well as the final result, shouting out his tattoo artist Nikko Hurtado.
Wale recently confirmed that his Album About Nothing is due out in the fall, and he's obviously back on his Twitter tip after taking a recent hiatus, which was explained in an open letter that you can check out here. The rapper has also been dropping some freebies for the fans lately, including a remix of "Clappers" with Rick Ross, Fat Trel and Young Thug, as well as a remix of "Show Me Love" with Troy Ave and MMG's Magazeen.
Peep the photos of his new tattoos in the gallery above. Let us know if you think it was a good choice of ink.
