It looks like the filming for the upcoming N.W.A movie "Straight Outta Compton" got off to a rocky start when a drive-by occurred as the film crew was setting up in Compton.
TMZ reports on the incident, which occurred outside of the Compton courthouse last week. Apparently a few locals (not actors involved in the movie) threw up gang signs to a passing car, which resulted in the car returning to open fire on them. They were not targeting the film crew, however the crew ended up in the crossfire because they were setting up for the film outside the courthouse. No one from the movie was hurt, although one civilian did get shot and survived.
The shooting is currently under investigation, and it's not certain at the moment if it was gang related. The filming for "Straight Outta Compton" will continue this week.
