Rita Ora hasn't really been dropping music as of late, she seems to be focused on the multitude of other business ventures she's got going on, including her line of clothing with adidas. Today though she pops up with a new record that appears on an upcoming film soundtrack for the movie "Beyond the Lights", a romantic drama.
Billboard premiered the uplifting record which was written by Diane Warren. Warren gave Billboard a few words about contributing to "Beyond The Lights" and getting Ms. Ora to sing "Grateful."
"Gina Prince-Bythewood made an amazing movie that shows what really goes on beyond the lights of fame. I am so happy she had me write this song. I'm so proud of it and Rita Ora did an amazing vocal. I think it can be a career song for her. It shows a whole different side to her and I'm hoping we get to hear it all over the radio and see her sing it on the Oscars next year!" she said.
Quotable Lyrics
I was thinking I was drowning in doubt
The weight of all the pain was weighing me down
Pulled it together and I pulled myself out
Learned a lesson, learned a lesson
