On July 21, 2017, Tyler, The Creator released Flower Boy, his Grammy-nominated and universally acclaimed album. A vast stylistic departure from his formative work, Flower Boy found Tyler exploring new sonic directions and thematic ground. Since then, he's remained relatively low-key, despite dipping his toes in the film-soundtrack waters for Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Amidst vainly hopeful rumors of an A$AP Rocky collaboration album, fans have been wondering about Tyler's next move on the solitary tip. Now, thanks some of Sony's recently released Financial documents, signs point to a new Tyler, The Creator arriving by the summer's midpoint.
On the eleventh page, a section titled "Noteworthy projects for the quarter ending June 30, 2019" features a look at some of Sony's upcoming drops. DJ Khaled's Father Of Asahd is present (May 17th), as is an untitled Chris Brown album. Tyler, The Creator is also included on the list under T.B.D, but his presence suggests that a Flower Boy follow-up is, at the very least, in the works.
