Previously, reports indicated the anticipated release of a tell-all book penned by Whitney Houston's best friend and alleged lady-lover, Robyn Crawford. The book was stated to have juicy details surrounding their relationship as well as a full take on what Whitney's right hand has seen throughout the years. That is especially with the release of the Bobby Brown story which documented a tumultuous relationship between Brown and Robyn, with latter usually circling back to Whitney. Precisely, following the biopic's airing, many have speculated on the state of Brown's overall feelings for Whitney Houston. As such, it seems the question has now been answered.
According to TooFab, Unapologetic comedian Chris Rock was reportedly intercepted by Bobby Brown shortly after posting a meme featuring Houston and Yahoo caught the whole thing. The meme revealed to be an unflattering photo of Houston, looking out-of-it with sunglasses. The caption Rock tied to the photo stated "me sitting in a meeting that could have been an email. Hurry up I got crack to smoke."
Considering Houston tragically passed away in 2012 with cocaine in her system and lived her life struggling with substance abuse issues, the joke did not sit well with everyone. And, Whitney Houston's former husband, Bobby Brown was the first one to come for Chris Rock's neck after he made the insensitive joke. In response, the "Every Little Step" singer responded: "During this time of women empowerment you choose to use your time to try and humiliate our QUEEN!!! I thought you was a friend of the family."
