Suga Free is postponing his forthcoming LP to build some buzz around it.

Unfortunately, Suga Free's long-anticipated 7th studio project will be pushed back to a later date. The good news is, the act of postponement was taking by Suga Free himself, in order to give himself a little gestation period to build his buzz. "We decided to drop two singles back to back first," Suga Free's management relayed to HipHopDX, while also confirming that a Snoop Dogg-assisted record figured in the plans as well, perhaps as one of two lead singles.

Incidentally, Suga Free fans were already gifted the lead single this past week, a duet of sorts with longtime collaborator, and fellow West Coaster, Kokane. One long look at Suga Free's social media accounts reaffirms this committed stance on the Resurrection LP, his first major solo endeavor in 10 years. Coincidentally, the emergence of off-beat favorite Blueface saw contemporary rap fans flock to the originators of the off-kilter style, namely Suga Free, Lil B, E-40, and Mac Dre, predominantly all West Coasters by trade.

Although Resurrection doesn't bear a release date to call its own, Suga Free has stated on record that it will drop at a time of his convenience in 2019. Snoop and Kokane aren't the only prominent voices confirmed for the project, as DJ Quik is believed to have a fairly omniscient presence behind the soundboard as well.
