DMX's hard times aren't over just yet. Despite the good news that Swizz Beats is executive producing his new album, and the fact that he settled his child support debt, he's still in financial turmoil, some of which may be his estranged wife's fault.
X's home in Mt. Kisco, New York is in foreclosure after the rapper stopped making his mortgage payments in 2008. DMX says that he stopped living in the house in 2005, and passed on all the financial responsibility (including mortgage payments) to his ex, Tashera. However, Tashera let things fall by the wayside, including the payments. X says that Tashera withdrew $100,000 from his bank account while he was locked up, and she didn't even put it towards the mortgage-- he says he has no idea what she did with all the money.
X tells TMZ, "I told her she is living above her means, that you can't still live on the same block as Martha Stewart and Chevy Chase, you gotta downgrade, but she refuses to do so because the house is in my name. She doesn't give a fuck about my credit."
