In one week, we'll be able to listen to Khalid's sophomore album after the R&B sensation released a series of singles leading up to Free Spirit. So far, we've noticed a real maturation in the young singer's sound, going from a heartbroken teenager to a young adult who is looking into the depths of his soul to figure out just who he really is. The changes are welcomed by his massive fanbase and his supporters are sure to come out in droves for his first-ever arena tour, which was just announced.
Khalid has performed in smaller venues as a headliner in the past, also hitting up a few festivals in his short career. However, this next stage of the El Paso singer's life is bringing him to huge arenas, allowing him to see how his sound connects with a larger audience. In order to support his upcoming project, Khalid will be heading out on the road from June to August, showing out in some of the biggest markets in North America. The performer will be headlining New York City's Madison Square Garden, Los Angeles' Staples Center, and other iconic concert spaces. He will be joined by Clairo, a viral lo-fi singer, on many of the dates.
Along with the tour announcement, Khalid also revealed the full tracklist for Free Spirit, revealing features from John Mayer and Safe. Will you be buying a ticket to his show?
