Nike has had a successful 2019 so far thanks to a plethora of great releases, including the all-new Nike Air Max 720. This shoe is the latest to join the Air Max family and Nike has been releasing a ton of great new colorways for it. While Nike has committed to the future, they are also still very much attached to the past. So far we've seen old models like the Nike Shox and Air Max Tailwind 4 comeback. One of the other models to make its return has been the Nike Air Max2 Light which has also been getting new colorways.
One of the latest versions of the Air Max2 Light to surface is being dubbed "Purple Berry" and based on the official images courtesy of Nike, we can see how the name is appropriate. Purple mesh and suede are interwoven across the tooling of the upper as white leather is overlayed on top of it all. A pink air bubble adds a pop of color to the midsole which is dressed all in white. Finally, a black Nike swoosh finishes off the sneaker.
These retro-inspired kicks will be dropping over at Nike.com and select retailers on April 5th for $140 USD, according to Sneaker Bar Detroit.
