No one is safe from "The Simpsons."

The Simpsons have been kicking it for 30 years now and over that time, they have become a staple of television and the satire genre. While some may argue that the show is only a shell of what it once was, others will say that it has still maintained the level of satire that has made it a hit for so many years. It's one of those shows that many of us have grown up with and even if it isn't like it was in the 90s, the writers still give us reasons to watch every Sunday.

Last night on the latest episode, the show decided to take some pretty hefty shots at upstate New York. The plot of the episode saw the family travel to Niagara Falls so that they could spend some expiring credit card points, according to USA Today. "We're headed to the one place that can never decline because it was never that great: Upstate New York," Homer Simpson says.

Homer then continues his roast of Upstate New York by singing a quick song.

"Start watchin' Fox News; Stop watchin' your weight

There is no fancy part of it — upstate New York.

They're fond of their booze; Hot wing sauce is great

I'm gonna clog my heart in it — upstate New York."

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's spokesman Rich Azzopardi was among those who spoke about the jokes saying: "There always remains work to be done but — dumb cheap shots aside — facts are facts: jobs are up, unemployment is down, millennials are coming back and it's clear that Poochie was an uncredited writer on that episode."

At least he kept a sense of humor about it all.
