Well this is sweet. Not only are we expecting to hear an upcoming Lox and Mobb Deep record for The Lox' upcoming album, but we can now look forward to the second Wu-Block LP as well!
D-Block and Wu-Tang (Sheek Louch & Ghostface) have apparently linked up once again to bring us the follow up to their 2012 Wu-Block LP. Today with barely any notice, the project’s artwork and tracklist was revealed on Juno Download, along with a preview of each song. The album also shows up on Amazon when you Google it but the page is inaccessible at the moment.
The LP will be released on May 20th and host 15 new songs with features coming from Ghostface, GZA, Masta Killa, The LOX and others. Definitely looking forward to this one.
Check out the album cover in the gallery above, and peep the tracklist below. Also added a a preview of the song "Can't Be Looking 4 Me" on the bottom. Take a listen.
[Update: A Greenstreets Entertainment rep says "Wu-Block 2's" cover art and tracklisting info is not official]
In an official statement from a Greenstreets representative:
"We weren't ready to make an announcement," the representative told HipHopDX. "The distributor jumped the gun. That art and tracklist was for discussion purposes [and] not official."
However, the label is "prob[ably]" set to make an official announcement regarding this project next week."
