Smooth riddim.

Both Drake and Swae Lee have been dominant forces on the Billboard charts. Of course, Drizzy's records are a little more impressive, but Swae Lee still has viable commercial success. Rumors of a new collaboration between Drake and Swae Lee began to circulate around the internet earlier this year, and evidence of the joint effort was made public at Coachella. Virgil Abloh had a set DJing at the famous music festival, and he previewed the song for a crowd of thousands.

The snippet is short, but it gives fans a hint of what to expect. The beat is a mix of riddim and electronic, mixing elements of house with hip-hop. Swae Lee can be heard first, crooning in autotune before Drake comes in. “Saving my time for you,” sings the Canadian rapper before the video cuts off. The beat alone is addicting, so we can only imagine where Drake took his verse. If Virgil's secret Drake and Swae Lee song drops this Summer, expect it to dominate the radio waves. The new song may appear on Drake's next album. According to Rap-Upduring Drake's “Assassination Vacation Tour” in London, he announced that he has already begun work on his next album.“So I think what I’ma do—I kinda actually started last night to be honest with you,” Drake told the audience at the O2 Arena. “But I think what I’ma do after this, is I’ma go home and I’ma make a new album so I can come back to London next year and we can do this again.”
