Marvel's Avengers: End Game is now in theaters everywhere and we can only assume that if you're reading this it means you've seen the film already or have your tickets lined up to see it soon. Aside from the never-ending conversation surrounding the movie, the Anthony and Joe Russo directed flick has pulled in some record-breaking moments that cannot go unnoticed and may or may not ever be beaten again.
Off the jump, the first trailer for the film pulled in a whopping 289 million views during its first 24 hours, becoming the most-watched trailer in that time frame. The second trailer did just as well, pulling in 268 million views in 24 hours. Even more, the pre-sale tickets for the film were just as impressive. Fans flooded to Fandango and Atom breaking a record for the most sales in an hour, selling twice as many tickets as Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Captain Marvel, Avengers and Avengers: Infinity War.
It's not over, the opening weekend for the movie will be screened on 4,600 screens more than any other film before. There's said to be 8,000 sold out showtimes already, five times more than Infinity War.
As for ratings, Endgame holds the highest rated film on Rotten Tomatoes (with 98%) known for its stiff ratings that are not easily swayed. While these records are just a handful, they're big moments for the MCU.
