Right now, Lil Uzi Vert is embroiled in what appears to be an in-house feud against DJ Drama and Don Cannon. The two have helped Uzi through each stage of his career but the blame is being placed solely on them in the curious case of Eternal Atake. This summer, the Philadelphia rapper started teasing his new album, stirring some controversy by using cult imagery in the cover artwork. As time kept moving on, the project still never arrived. Uzi claimed that he was having label difficulties, which Drama denied by telling the artist he can drop whenever he wants. Now that the "Money Longer" rapper has signed a new deal with Roc Nation, it would appear as though EA might finally be on the way but the "Free Uzi" movement is still very much underway.
Uzi cleared his entire Instagram page today, leaving his stories active. As temporary posts, the Philly product has been sharing fans' "Free Uzi" messages and he added his own into the hat. Drama's artist Jack Harlow took a photo alongside the executive and posted it to his own page before Uzi decided to have some fun with the shot, adding a clown emoji over Harlow's face and speaking his thoughts loud and clear. Although he's back in the studio, Drama is still a clown and anybody associated with him is too, according to Lil Uzi Vert.
With all that's been going on lately, it's easy to assume that his album could finally be on the way. After all, this would be a pretty solid marketing scheme. If Eternal Atake does drop in the coming weeks, you can guarantee that a large number of people will be tuning in.
