ScHoolboy Q is cruising right now, with the release of his anticipated fifth studio album CrasH Talk still awaiting feedback from the fans, the current press run is habitual. During a sit-down with Ebro on the HOT 97 radio-show Ebro in the Morning today, Groovy Q discussed numerous things from gang culture, the passing of Nipsey Hussle and Mac Miller (both to whom he penned a heartfelt tribute in his new album's booklet) and his adoration for golf. Furthermore, while granting his opinion surrounding the top rappers of respective eras, the LA-native sided with Rosenberg when it came to Drake.
“If Drake is trash, you n***as stop giving him 50 billion streams, you get what I'm saying? 'Cause y’all all listening to it, bruh, it's too many streams. ... You just don't wanna say it," commented the Black Hippy affiliate. Considerably, the revelation was raw and unfiltered. He continued stating that Drake was underrated, while also calling him "one of the greats." He even went onto dragging Drake-haters, calling them "dweebs" for trash talking the mixed-raced Canadian artist.
Shortly thereafter, ScHoolboy Q offered his sincerest opinion about the circumstances which resulted in the untimely death of Nipsey Hussle: “This is really, really, really fucked up. Like some of the most disappointing shit for blacks period. Not even just gangbanging or nothing, I’m talking about black people [...]. I was so disappointed in black people period. … That was probably the low of all lows I’ve seen for a long, long time.”
