Halsey recently dropped off her stellar track "Nightmare" with an accompanying video that's just as powerful. Needless to say, her fans are all for it since it's become the "most added song" on the radio this week and the outpour of response has been just as loud. A Twitter user recently shared a note detailing how she got pulled over for speeding but didn't tell the cop it was because she was blasting Halsey's latest track.
"Confession: Driving home from Penn State I got pulled over/given a ticket for the first time ever and when asked why I was going 99 in a 70 I was ~dangerously~ close to admitting I was bangin out to @halsey’s new song Nightmare," the user shared.
Halsey being the person she is graciously offered to pay the fan's ticket for her, adding a note to drive safe. "“What’s your Venmo? I’ll pay your ticket. DRIVE SAFELY PLEASE!!!!” the "Without Me" singer responded.
The fan even shared a screenshot of Halsey's promise, clearly feeling grateful for the love.
"Imagine getting onstage every night and seeing young women sweating mascara tears, lightning in their eyes, throwing elbows and raising fists, screaming till the veins in their necks raise under warm skin, and not being inspired by it. this song is about you, for you," Halsey wrote on Twitter about her new song - listen here.
