Lil Wayne's Young Money roster could be out of a website if they don't step up on missed payments, according to a new lawsuit.
TMZ reports that the domain name youngmoney.com originally belonged to a business that helped young entrepreneurs manage and make money. The suit claims that the company sold their website name youngmoney.com to Weezy's imprint in 2011, for $600,000. However, the deal was that if Wayne's camp didn't make the payments on time, they would forfeit the domain name and it would return to the seller.
It appears just that is happening-- Wayne is behind on payments by $250,000, and shows no signs of forking over the money. Thus, the seller is suing in an effort to get back the site name.
We'll update you as the lawsuit unfolds, so far Young Money has not commented on the situation.
