The NFL Draft went down last night and there was a ton of discussion surrounding the Oakland Raiders who had three picks in the first round. After finishing the season 4-12, the Raiders were blessed with the fourth overall pick in the draft which meant there was a ton of talent they could have taken. Instead of drafting an obvious defensive talent in Josh Allen, or picking a quarterback like Dwayne Haskins, the Raiders decided to go off the board and picked defensive player Clelin Ferrell from the Clemson Tigers.
Ferrell was expected to go much later in the first round so Raiders fans were confused and upset when the team made a stretch for a player so high in the draft. Just a couple of picks later, the New York Giants one-upped the Raiders confusing decision, although by then, the jokes were already flying on Twitter.

The Raiders made a plethora of interesting decisions last season as head coach Jon Gruden practically took over the entire team when it came to decision making. Gruden traded superstar defensive player Khalil Mack and wide receiver Amari Cooper which ultimately led to the abysmal season.
It is believed that Gruden was the one behind the draft picks and considering his past of being a guy who likes to go off the board, his latest draft picks don't seem that out of pocket.
