Most people drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft are happy because it means all their hard work paid off and they'll now be making millions of dollars doing what they love. Some players move up the draft board and others fall for inexplicable reasons. One of those players who fell in the draft was Dwayne Haskins, a quarterback from Ohio State. Some thought he could go to the New York Giants with the sixth overall pick, although they decided to go with Daniel Jones, which Giants fans were reasonably upset about.

With few teams needing a quarterback, Haskins fell to the 15th overall pick where he was selected by the Washington Redskins. While Haskins is happy to be playing close to home, the QB explained how many teams ultimately made a huge mistake.

"I'm more motivated than ever, there's a bigger chip on my shoulder, the league done messed up," he said. "I'm right down the street, so we're going to do it right this time. So it's crazy."

Haskins only got to be a starter for one year at Ohio State, although the Redskins draft pick firmly believes that one season has cemented himself as a great prospect.

"I had one year in college and I feel like I showed all I could as far as one year," Haskins said. "I broke a lot of records and did a lot of great things. I feel like I did a lot of stuff that showed that I can be able to translate to the NFL. Just being able to do what I did at a high level, it was the right choice for me to make that change to go to the pros."

Only time will tell whether or not the Giants made a mistake and should have picked Haskins.
