Last year, Reese Witherspoon shared a video of herself to Instagram that saw her lounging in a pool confirming that Legally Blonde 3 was in the works. It's been close to exactly a year since the beloved post and announcement was shared and on a recent visit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Big Little Lies actress shares even more on the sequel.
"We're meeting about it. I mean, we're definitely talking about it. I don't know. Do you guys want to see Legally Blonde 3?” Reese asked the audience. “I mean, it's sort of about women being underestimated and I think it's a good idea — that things have changed, but not that much has changed! But yea, I love playing that character and she’s so, so amazing. I don’t know, if you guys want it, I guess I’ll do it!”
As you probably know, the movie's premise is about a woman who attends Harvard law to get her ex-boyfriend back but while she's there, she realizes that she has a knack for law and pursues it fully.
Previous reports detail how the film is set to hit theatres February 2020, but only time will tell.
