The friendship that ScHoolboy Q has with Tyler, The Creator and A$AP Rocky is amazing. They consistently come through with regular roasts of one member of the trio, with Rocky usually becoming their punching bag. Earlier this week, Rocky and Tyler teamed up to have some laughs at Q's expense and already, the TDE rapper is repaying the favour.
Hyping up his upcoming album CrasH Talk, ScHoolboy Q posted a behind-the-scenes video with Tyler, showing him some songs before they were released. The Odd Future frontman wasn't immune to a roast though because the 32-year-old Q decided to remind him that nobody is safe from a few jokes. Speaking about Tyler's "Telephone Calls" collaboration with the A$AP Mob in 2016, Q laughed at how he still performs the song with Rocky at live shows. He's a fan of the song itself but he's not sure how they've kept the energy consistent for this long.
"Bruh, y'all perform that dumbass song one more time... Rocky, Tyler, that dumbass- that song was hard but y'all performed it so much..." said Q to a smiling Tyler. Tyler responded by saying that it's never his idea to perform it but Q wasn't hearing any of that, continuing to whine about their concerts. "And y'all really be into it still," he laughed.
The new video also shows footage of Q showing Tyler his brand new song "CrasH." Tyler was inspired by the rapper's energy, saying that it made him want to go home and write out some bars. ScHoolboy Q's new album drops tonight.
