The dad shoe trend is showing no signs of slowing down.

One of the biggest sneaker trends of the last two years has been the revival of dad shoes. It all started with Kanye West who had sneakerheads scratching their heads at the arrival of the Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 "Wave Runner." The shoe eventually caught on which led to almost every single sneaker company coming out with their very own takes on dad shoes. Nike's M2K Tekno has enjoyed quite a bit of success thanks to this trend and now, Nike has been making sure there are plenty of colorways of it for consumers to choose from.

The latest of these colorways is being dubbed "Barely Volt" thanks to its vibrant yellow aesthetic that is also quite subtle thanks to the pastel nature of the colorway. This sneaker has pops of color throughout the upper thanks to the two red Nike swooshes on the side that seem a little out of place. Meanwhile, the midsole is white but contains volt hints that leak up from the outsole.

According to Sneaker Bar Detroit, these will be dropping soon for $100 USD so stay tuned for the official release.
