The last time these two teamed up was in 2007.

Streetwear legends Bape and comic book powerhouse DC Comics have an unlikely history together. All the way back in 2007, the two brands came together for a capsule that included superheroes like the Flash, Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman on t-shirts, hoodies, and even crewnecks. These pieces all came with Bape's signature aesthetic and the collection was a big hit amongst both comic book fans and streetwear enthusiasts. Bape's collaborations always tend to draw a ton of hype and the 2007 collection was no different. Now, just 12 years later, it appears as though the two will be teaming up once again, although details are scarce.

Bape has taken to their Instagram account to tease a brand new DC Comics collaboration. There are three posts up on their account, with each post saying "Coming soon!" Two superheroes have been confirmed so far: Batman and Superman. These choices seem pretty obvious considering both heroes are some of DC Comics' most popular and most marketable. As of right now, there is no information on which other characters might be included or what the pieces will be.

Stay tuned for further details on this collection as they become available. We're sure it's going to be a fire collab as these two always seem to generate some buzz.
