Tennis star Andre Agassi was an unlikely sneaker icon back in the 1990's and one of the shoes he helped popularize was the Nike Air Tech Challenge 2. Today, we reported that the Nike LeBron 16 will be coming out in a "Hot Lava" colorway which pays homage to the OG model of the original Air Tech Challenge 2 from 1991. Now, Nike is confirming that the shoe will be re-released this Friday to coincide with the release of the LeBron 16 version.
Just like the OG version from 1991, this mid-cut model will have a white upper with infrared highlights on the outsole, Nike swoosh, tongue, and insole. There are black details all around as well, with a grey cage for the laces on the side. If you're into vintage Nike models that haven't come out in a while, these will certainly be a great cop.
