The Houston Rockets eliminated the Utah Jazz in Game 5 at the Toyota Center on Wednesday night, and the focus quickly shifted to their opponent in the second-round. While Golden State failed to wrap up their first-round series, as the Los Angeles Clippers forced a Game 6, Rockets center Clint Capela is still hoping the defending champs can take care of business.
Following Houston's 100-93 victory, James Harden declined to comment on the possibility of facing the Warriors again - but Capela told the media point blank, "That's what I want." He added, "I want to face them."
Chris Paul, who was seated next to Capela, knew that the center's comments would be the talk of #NBATwitter.
"Look at you," Paul said, glancing at a reporter. "You can't wait to tweet that."
Capela, who finished with 16 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks last night, continued, "We've been working on it all year long. I think if you want to be the champion, you've got to beat the champion. So at some point, you've got to do it, right?"
The champions will first have to get rid of the pesky Los Angeles Clippers. Game 6 at Staples Center is scheduled to take place on Friday night at 10pm ET.
