Not long after boxing champ Adrien Broner was cleared of sexual battery charges, he was involved in an altercation with Miami Police last month. The 29-year-old got into a shouting match with authorities on the streets of Florida, resulting in them placing him in handcuffs. He was able to avoid being taken into custody and he and fellow boxer Gervonta Davis went about their way without further incident.
Now, TheShadeRoom is reporting that Broner has been picked up in Miami and arrested on a bench warrant for a battery charge. The publication states that the boxer's bail is only $200, however, they didn't report on where Broner's charges stem from. Meanwhile, Broner's social media spat with Andrew "Delivert" Caldwell continues. Following the news of Broner's arrest, Caldwell shared a photo of himself inside of a luxury vehicle. He captioned the photo by writing, "Borrowing AB rolls royce while he in jail 😝."
These two have gone back and forth on Instagram for the last few weeks after Broner called out Caldwell for sliding in his DMs. Caldwell went on to insinuate that Broner was secretly living a "down low" lifestyle, an accusation that the boxer vehemently denied. "If I got my gun on me, I'm shooting you in the f*cking face, and that's on God and them," Broner said in a video. "I'm not playing with none of these n****s. I don't like gay sh*t." TMZ reported that the heated words prompted Caldwell to apply for a temporary restraining order against Broner.
