Flavor Flav, iconic hypeman from the legendary rap group Public Enemy, was arrested for battery in 2012. The incident in question found the rapper allegedly chasing and threatening his fiance's 17-year old son with a pair of knives.
2 years later, the case has till not gone to court, and it appears that it possibly never will, as Flav is reported to be taking a plea deal.
The details on the deal are still undisclosed, but it's looking as though the PE rapper will take the deal later today in Clark County District Court, so we should get the full breakdown soon.
Without the plea, Flav was facing felony assault and child endangerment, which could have landed him in prison for 12 years.
More coverage to come as information arrives.
