The rumors come in light of the Jets GM change.

The New York Jets shocked the football world last week when they decided to fire general manager Mike Maccagnan and replace him with head coach Adam Gase. In the aftermath of the move, it was revealed that Gase and Maccagnan disagreed on the team's Le'Veon Bell signing. Gase liked Bell but reportedly didn't agree with how much money he was going to make. With this information out in the open, some analysts believe it wouldn't be outside of the realm of possibility for Bell to be traded.

Speaking to 93.7 the Fan in Pittsburgh, ESPN's John Clayton said "If there's a suitor, I could absolutely see the Jets trading [Bell] before the start of the season." This is a huge revelation although it should come with some skepticism considering for now, this is simply a rumor.

When the report about Gase's disapproval of Bell came out last week, the running back took to Twitter where he addressed all the noise.

"There's been a BUNCH of false reports and speculation about me in the past about things I've said and done, so I'm used to this," Bell tweeted. "I don't jump to conclusions when I hear or see a story that may affect me.

"Even if reports are true, that won't stop me from doing what I came here to do...everyone has a job to do, and I'm gonna do mine whether people 'like' me or not. I'm here to win football games."

Stay tuned for updates on Bell's situation.
