SZA talks about her plans to release an album called "A" and direct videos for "Z" tracks.

For some artists, naming albums and mixtapes seems like it takes a long time (Well$' recent MTSYD: The Revenge Of The African Booty Scratcher springs to mind), but for SZA, TDE's first lady, the process is simple. Following her mixtape See.SZA.Run, she's released projects named and Z, respectively, and now she's announced plans for a new album, naturally entitled A.

Speaking with Complex TV, the New Jersey native spoke on her recent release, Z, calling it "a compilation of trials and errors" and naming Crystal Castles, Marvin Gaye, Bjork and Lauryn Hill as the project's main influences. Complex host Jinx asked SZA about the line that kicks off "Child's Play," her Chance The Rapper collaboration ("ripping the heads off all my Barbie dolls"), and she said it was based in her childhood, when she used to mutilate her older sister's dolls because she couldn't relate to them.

Talk then moved to her upcoming projects, namely the upcoming final chapter in her S/Z/trilogy. SZA said she'd just started workign on the album, and when asked if other members of TDE would show up on it, she said: "I hope so." SZA also revealed plans to direct several "short films based around Z," so look out for those in the near future.
