The Milwaukee Bucks have been a dominant team in the NBA this year thanks to the heroics of Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek Freak is a contender for the MVP award and many believe it should be him that gets it. Despite this, Giannis had far from his best game on Sunday night as the Bucks dropped Game 3 to the Toronto Raptors by a score of 118-112 in double overtime.
Giannis finished the game with 12 points and 23 rebounds although he ended up fouling out in the second overtime period which left his team at a huge disadvantage. That's when Kawhi Leonard took over for the Raptors and won them the game. Afterward, Giannis spoke to the media where he explained that he's not surprised that Raptors showed so much fight.
"We could've been up 3-0," Antetokounmpo said according to ESPN. "We didn't play well. ... I never expected this series to be easy."
The Greek Freak then explained that he's confident that team will bounce back as they haven't lost sight of what the ultimate goal is.
"We could've been up 3-0,"he said. "We didn't play well. ... I never expected this series to be easy."
