In the last episode of Game of Thrones, Arya Stark got down and dirty with long-time best friend Gendry. To the bafflement of the audience, the girl with many faces first questioned her prey about his previous love affairs. Once the younger Stark was given a number adequate to her standards, she proceeded to get jiggy with it right before the arrival of the White Walkers.
Evidently, the scene set social media on fire. While some were rooting for Ms. Stark, others claimed to have felt quite uncomfortable watching the scene altogether. And such is understandable as Game of Thrones fans practically watched young Arya grow up before their eyes. Nevertheless, the varying reactions to the scene sparked a response from Maisie Williams, the actress behind the role of Arya.
Via her official Twitter account, the 22-year old star shared that the scene was uncomfortable for her as well. In fact, she shared a cringe chronicle with her 2.3 million followers. She states: "if u feel uncomfortable just know that my mother and my step dad and my 2 sisters and my 4 brothers have all probably watched this too ahahakillmeehehe." The responses to Williams' revelation capture the ensuing reaction of most and perhaps suffices to keep any former feelings of discomfort at bay. Considering the actress' experience, we now understand who was really uncomfortable in all of this.
