21 Savage has been surprisingly quiet this year. He's been lending his voice for feature spots but we have yet to hear a follow-up to his 2017 collaborative album with Offset and Metro Boomin, Without Warning. With this being a monumental year for hip-hop album releases, 21 Savage may be looking to throw his name in the hat, crossing his fingers to come out on the other side with a hit. A few months ago, the Atlanta rapper teased an "Octember" release date for his next album, noting that he always comes in clutch during the fourth quarter. Well, we've just entered Q4 so Savage looks to be preparing for his time in the spotlight.
In case this weekend was too hectic, the "Bank Account" artist reminded his fans that he was planning to drop a new project before the end of the year, tweeting out a release date filled with question marks. The only field that has been revealed is the year as, once again, 21 is promising to come through imminently. Of course, if the rapper's earlier statement is to be believed, he could be dropping the project on any given day between today and the end of December. That gives us a three-month waiting period but considering all the heat we've been blessed with in 2018, we're hoping for a drop sooner rather than later.
21 Savage was also written down on Quavo's feature shortlist for his solo album, Quavo Huncho, which was expected to release in September. Are you looking forward to a new album from 21?
