Dorrough Music is currently prepping his next album, TexaFornia, and today we have the privilege of premiering the first single from it. "Beat Up The Block" features Lil Boosie, was produced by Digital University (Q Smith Norm T), and is just the sort of Down South banger we've come to expect from Dorrough.
Saying that he comes from "the land of the trill," Dorrough opens up the song with two minutes of braggadocious rapping that reps the Lone Star State hard. Boosie comes on for a furious final verse, daring us to get on his "last nerve" and capping off a run of very successful guest appearances this year.
Stay tuned for more drops from TexaFornia.
Quotable Lyrics:
Sooner or later you probably will realize that I am the one who is hot
Most of these niggas are phony and if you don't know it yet I am the one who is not
Say what you wanna say, do what you wanna do, I'ma do me while I get to this guap
Matter fact, soon as I pull out the lot, I'ma speed off and go beat up the block
