Brown has expressed interest in the 49ers in the past.

It's a well-known fact at this point that Antonio Brown will be traded out of Pittsburgh. The only question remaining on everyone's mind right now is where will he actually go? Many actually thought that Brown would end up with the San Francisco 49ers, especially after he started hanging around Jerry Rice and even posted a picture of himself in a 49ers jersey. Well, it appears that Niners fans are out of luck right now, as general manager John Lynch explained that the team has not reached out to Pittsburgh.

"We have not. We have not," Lynch said according to NFL.com. "It's funny the world we live in where one tweet from a player turns into interest. But, hey, that is the world we live in. I can tell you, like every team, we think the guy is a heck of a football player. But we have not had talks with the Steelers, I can tell you that. I'll just leave it as he's a great player. We've got a ton of respect for Antonio."

Steve Wyche of the NFL Network put even more daggers into the AB to San Francisco rumors by tweeting that the 49ers are not and will not be in play for Brown.

Sorry, 49ers fans. It looks like AB isn't in the cards after all.
