Marshall still loves the city of Denver.

It was reported earlier this week that the Denver Broncos would not be picking up the 2019 option for linebacker Brandon Marshall, which makes him a free agent who can go wherever he pleases as of March 13th. Marshall, who is 29 years old, only played 11 games with the team last season after struggling with a knee injury. While the team may not want him back, Marshall told TMZ Sports that he loves it in Denver and would be open to signing with them again if the opportunity presents itself.

"I wouldn't rule out a return yet," Marshall explained. "Still a chance I could return to the team. It could definitely happen. If things work its way out, I'm definitely open to a return ... they have to be open as well, we'll see."

Marshall has been an active member of the Denver community and even lives in the city, so for him, a return to the orange and blue would be the ideal situation.

The linebacker has been a beast for the Broncos over the years. Drafted in the 5th round back in 2012, Marshall has 419 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, and 2 interceptions, according to TMZ.

No matter where he lands, he will definitely be making a team's defense a lot stronger.
