Boston-based brewery Samuel Adams is gearing up for Super Bowl LIII with the release of a Tom Brady-inspired IPA dubbed, "Too Old, Too Slow, Still Here."
According to Boston.com, the all-new farmhouse double New England IPA (7.8% ABV) will be available during a release party at the Boston Brewery & Tap Room today, January 31, from 4:30-7:30 pm.
In honor of Brady being selected 199th overall by the Pats in the 2000 draft, the first 1999 people in attendance will be eligible to purchase one limited-edition crowler of the "Too Old, Too Slow, Still Here" IPA.
Additionally, the beer will be available on draft in the tap room, located at 30 Germania St Boston, Massachusetts 02130.
“We’re behind [the] New England Patriots 100% as they head to the big game,” said Sam Adams founder and brewer Jim Koch in a press release (H/T Boston.com). “The best way we could think to honor the team was to brew a beer for fans that can’t make it to Atlanta and a New England style Double IPA with as much spirit as the players felt like the perfect beer. We haven’t doubted them all season and can’t wait to watch them on Sunday with a beer in hand that honors their hard work.”
