Could The Rock make a good president?

Dwayne The Rock Johnson has always been a character and as of late, the wrestler turned actor has been toying with the idea of getting into the political realm and potentially running for President. While the actor doesn't feel as though he has the experience necessary to get involved in that kind of capacity just yet, he does feel like it is a possibility in the future. During an interview at the Sundance Film Festival, Johnson explained his political aspirations just a little bit more.

“I saw Kamala Harris’ speech the other day and thought it was good,” Johnson said via IndieWire. “Just for me, I lack the experience, I lack a lot of things. Certainly not right now.”

Johnson then spoke on some Presidential possibilities for the future and what it would take to get there.

“I’m not ruling it out,” he said, “I’m not ruling out the idea if I could make a bigger impact somehow, or potentially surround myself with good people.”

The Rock also explained that he has the utmost respect for the country and its political realm and that going into the 2020 election, he wants to be more engaged and vocal about who is ultimately decides to support.
