Lonzo hoping to land in NY and Chicago according to report.

The Los Angeles Lakers' trade package for New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis will likely "have to start with" Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Ivica Zubac and a first-round pick, according to the Los Angeles Times' Broderick Turner and Tania Ganguli.

However, it has been reported that Ball is not interested in playing for the Pelicans and would prefer to be moved to a third team that doesn't have an established point guard. In fact, Ball reportedly has a wish list of potential landing spots that includes the Chicago Bulls and New York Knicks.

Tania Ganguli reports, "Ball's camp has concerns about how crowded the Pelicans' backcourt is. The problem for Ball is that he's a key part of what the Pelicans want in a deal for Davis."

That said, New Orleans reportedly feels Ball could play 35 minutes a night alongside Jrue Holiday, who 'doesn't want to be a point guard.'

"They don't see Jrue Holiday as a point guard because he 'doesn't want to be a point guard,' one source said," according to the LA Times. "The sources said the Pelicans would play Ball 35 minutes a night and make sure he 'would fit' in with New Orleans so he could become a star."

Of course, the Lakers and Pelicans aren't at all obligated to meet the 21-year old point guard's request. Ball is currently averaging 9.9 points per game to go along with 5.4 assists and 5.3 rebounds, although he remains sidelined with an ankle sprain that could keep him out of action until March.
