Weezy season is quickly approaching. With the release Young Money’s Rise Of An Empire album this past Tuesday, many Lil Wayne fans have already started their countdown for the Carter V. Now while the album doesn't hit store shelves until May 5th, it looks like we'll get to hear the first single off of it this week!
During Friday's SXSW CRWN interview with Elliott Wilson, Lil Wayne announced that his manager, Cortez Bryant, would be picking his next single and dropping it sometime this week. No word yet as for the single’s title or what we can expect from it, but we do have word from Weezy himself that it’s coming. Wayne later jokingly revealed that he’ll probably find out what single Tez chose via text.
Last week, Tunechi told MTV News in all seriousness that it would take $25-35 million dollars in order for him to do another solo album after Carter V. You think Wayne will actually retire after Carter V? Or is this “Senile”?
Check out the brief footage of their interview below. (Wayne drops single news at 0:30 mark)
