The police are looking for the public's assistance in finding multiple persons of interest in Jussie Smollett's attack.

Jussie Smollett received an outpour of support after he was viciously attacked by masked men. Police have been investigating the situation but they've yet to make an arrest. However, they are getting close. According to TMZ, police have found the persons of interest they're looking for but they need the help of the public to track them down.

Police managed a lead in Jussie Smollett's case after spotting a lead in surveillance footage. Chicago PD said they found an angle in the footage that revealed "persons of interest wanted for questioning" in the assault against Jussie Smollett. However, people are being careful in referring to the people they're looking for as suspects in the case. Police said they'll be releasing pictures of the persons of interest very soon.

A few hours before announcing they've found their persons of interests, Chicago Police tweeted that "no video of the alleged assailants or a vehicle has been discovered but we are continuing to broaden our search."

Jussie Smollett was brutally attacked yesterday by two men who assaulted him, put his head in a noose, uttered homophobic and racial slurs and screaming, "This is MAGA Country."

The actor arrived to Chicago from New York prior to the attack. He went to grab a bite but on his way home, someone reportedly yelled, "Aren't you that f***ot from 'Empire?'" before assaulting him.
