The highly anticipated, 5th annual Rolling Loud Festival took place this past weekend in Miami, and though the event proved to be an overall success, it seems to have inspired a string of bad luck, with a number of shootings and cancelled sets, and even a Kodak Black arrest.
The shootings included that of Chicago rapper AAB Hellabandz, who was pronounced dead at the scene of the crime. The young rapper, who was shot and killed in front of the popular nightclub Cameo as dozens of onlookers crowded the street, had an active warrant out for his arrest for attempted murder in Atlanta. An official motive for the shooting has not been released, but the rapper definitely could have had some enemies who were also in town.
Leaked police footage shows a suspect running across Washington Avenue after the shooting, as bystanders fled the chaotic scene. "We now have surveillance video that we’re sharing for the first time of the shooter in this incident,” Miami Beach Police Officer Ernesto Rodriguez said.“We do know the victim in this case. It was wanted out of Atlanta PD, actually, he had an active warrant for attempted murder. Lots of folks there. Thankfully, no one else was wounded.”
