Kanye West took the holidays off, but he's back in full form on the second leg of the Yeezus tour, and there's a whole lot to discuss since his brief absence. The outspoken rapper riffed on a variety of topics in last night's visionary stream of consciousness, including Macklemore's Grammy wins, and the VERY HOTTT topic of Drake's Rolling Stone interview.
As he has for the duration of his career, Kanye put the media on blast in his address of Drake's comments. "Those magazines keep trying to put niggas against each other," he said. "We love Drake, we ain't letting that shit happen no more. If anything, we are going to go after those motherfuckers and their negativity, because before they print shit like that, they need to check with me and him to see if it’s OK before they get ran up in their motherfuckin office.”
As far as Macklemore is concerned, 'Ye was fairly respectful, but made it clear that he wasn't pleased with the Grammy committees decisions. "Macklemore knows what it is, he tried, he made some good music, he's a good kid, but y'all know what it is," he said. "Giving me two nominations is like giving a waiter a two dollar tip. Macklemore know what it is."
