Who said Yeezys are dead?

There has been a rampant debate amongst sneakerheads as of late. Basically, people want to know if Kanye West's Yeezy line with Adidas is truly dead or not. Over the last year, there hasn't been as much hype surrounding many of the releases surrounding the Yeezy line, but that still hasn't stopped the shoes from selling out. However, resale prices have taken a bit of nose dive and some within the community feel as though Yeezy's just don't make an impact anymore.

Well, according to some new sales information courtesy of sneaker retail expert Matt Powell, there was a 600% increase in Yeezy sales throughout Q4 of 2018.

Throughout Q4 there were plenty of releases to keep Yeezy fans occupied including some new 700 colorways like the "Mauve" and "Static" versions, as well as some restocks of popular 350 V2 colorways like the "Zebra," "Yebra," and "Cream" models.

In addition to all of these releases, there was a large increase in the number of pairs released which also led to an increase in sales. Kanye has been talking about making sure everyone who wants their Yeezys gets them eventually and it seems as though that's the reality right now. The demand has always been high and now Adidas is making a conscious effort to meet that demand opting for customer satisfaction over hype and inflated resale prices.

2019 already looks to be a busy year for Yeezy as new colorways of the 700 and 350 models are rumored to release.
