Dan Reed is sticking to his guns ahead of "Leaving Neverland's" premiere.

Regardless of what Michael Jackson's estate or family say on the matter, Leaving Neverland director Dan Reed is sticking to his laurels. After hearing from Jackie Jackson of the Jackson clan, CBS This Morning anchor Gayle King turned her attention to director Reed for an objective analysis of the other side, however suspicious it might seem to the general observer.

Reed has been accused of depicting  Wade Robson and Jimmy Safechuck's accusations in an overly-graphic manner; he nevertheless stands by those choices. "I think for many years Jackson got away with this image of being a bit of a child himself and being very affectionate with children, and I wanted to make sure people understood this wasn’t overenthusiastic kissing or cuddling," he told the CBS This Morning panel. "This was sex, the kind of sex adults have but he was having with a little child."

Dan Reed then plunged into the defense of Robson and Safechuck's retelling of the MJ-incidents, by insisting they were alone with Michael when the purported transgressions took place. The point is trying to make, is that Jackson's family has no way knowing whether he molested the two boys because they weren't on hand to witness "it" with their own eyes. Leaving Neverland will premiere without a hitch, next week on the HBO network - stay tuned for more on this developing issue.
