The 2014 mtvU Woodie Awards took place last night in Austin, Texas, as part of the South by Southwest festivities. We reported on the nominees in February, and now we have the full list of winners for each award.
Drake ended up taking home the biggest award, the Woodie of the Year, beating out Pharrell, Lorde, Zedd, Disclosure and Imagine Dragons. Although Drizzy is currently on tour in Europe (and spending plenty of time with Rihanna), Lil Wayne was there to scoop up his award for him, in addition, he surprised fans with a performance to kick off the award ceremony.
In other categories, Chance The Rapper took home Best Video Woodie for his "Everybody's Something" visual. A$AP Rocky and Skrillex also took home the award for Best Woodie Collaboration with "Wild For The Night."
The "2014 mtvU Woodie Awards Special" is set to air on Sunday March 16 at 8PM ET on MTV, and Childish Gambino, Danny Brown, Iggy Azalea, and more will take the stage.
