The NCAA needs to go back to the drawing board.

Over the last few years, the NCAA has come under fire for the way it treats their athletes. College sports bring in millions of dollars every year and it always ends up in the hands of the schools and the coaches, but never the actual students. Student-athletes aren't even allowed gifts or they could be subject to suspensions or worse: expulsion. It's a pretty rough way to treat the players who are the ones bringing so many eyes to their respective sports. Due to the NCAA's stance, the organization isn't viewed favorably by those who have been through it. It's this distaste for the NCAA that led to the hilarious Twitter reactions of former college athletes after the organization posted a "day in the life" of a student-athlete video.

The video itself is pretty basic. It takes the viewer through the different stages of an athletes day as they juggle their classes. While the intentions were probably good, it was clear that the NCAA was doing some embellishment. In the video, it makes it seem as though the athlete has a pretty happy-go-lucky life, although as many student-athletes can attest, the portrayal in the Twitter video isn't accurate in the slightest. In fact, it's a lot more stressful than the NCAA would like you to think.

Here are some of the best reactions to the video.
