Whenever you're in a building with multiple floors, your biggest nightmare is most likely being trapped in an elevator. I mean, there is probably nothing worse than being trapped in a tight enclosure surrounded by people you either don't know. Thankfully for the Portland Trail Blazers, they were surrounded by teammates when they got trapped in an elevator on Tuesday. The team is in Boston for a game against the Celtics on Wednesday night and while practicing at Emerson College, Damian Lillard, Enes Kanter, Anfernee Simmons, Meyers Leonard, Evan Turner, Zach Collins, Rodney Hood, and Skal Labissière all got stuck in an elevator together.
Both Leonard and Kanter ended up posting videos of the incident to Twitter. While they were stuck in the elevator for 30 minutes, they were rescued and everyone was ultimately okay.
"No one was injured in the incident," Emerson College said in a statement according to ESPN. "The College apologizes for the disruption and hopes the team takes it easy on the Boston Celtics (Wednesday)."
While it probably sucked being trapped like that, the Trail Blazers hopefully used the incident as a chemistry-building exercise. The Trail Blazers are having a pretty successful season so far with a record of 37-23 which puts them fourth in the Western Conference.
