Marvel Studios President Kevin Feig has successfully pulled off an impressive feat, and then some. As one of the minds responsible for the vast, interwoven Marvel Cinematic Universe, it's easy to take his contributions to the blockbuster landscape for granted. In short, he's part of the reason why both DC and Universal Monsters attempted their own variant on the "shared universe," to varying degrees of success. Yet in the end, Marvel's cinematic universe reigns supreme, with box office numbers and critical acclaim to back up the play.
Now, with a pair of new properties set to pop off on the Disney+ streaming service, including Loki and Scarlet Witch & Vision, many have wondered if they will extend into the vast umbrella of the MCU. As it happens, Feig has confirmed they will indeed remain part of the universe. "These will be Marvel Studios productions," Feige said, speaking with ComicBook. "They will be entirely interwoven with both the current MCU, the past MCU, and the future of the MCU."

While it bolds well for fans of the vast project, lest we forgot the Netflix Universe was meant to extend into the MCU as well. The Avengers is referenced in Daredevil season 1, while Chitauri tech is used as an important plot device in Luke Cage. There are even references to Sokovia in the oft-maligned, though perhaps misunderstood Iron Fist. Only now, they're all canceled. Maybe they all died in the Thanos snap. That's probably what happened.
