Solange has come through with the perfect magazine cover to cover up the fact that she hasn't dropped off new music that she promised us at the end of 2018 (I'm salty, can you tell?). “There is a lot of jazz at the core but with electronic and hip-hop drum and bass because I want it to bang and make your trunk rattle," she previously stated of her new music.
So while we're a little upset by not having new sounds from the "Cranes In The Sky" singer, her i-D magazine cover where she looks like a masked goddess will hold us over. The image was debuted on Instagram today and although we don't have any quotes from the official interview, the publication urges fans to "stay tuned for our huge upcoming interview with one of music and art’s brightest stars and biggest trailblazers."
Solange previously explained that she spent some time in Jamaica while recording her upcoming album. “I have this fear living in my body about releasing work,” she explained. “I don’t know any artist that doesn’t feel that before they hit the send button.”
We're ready when you are, Solange!
